About Peter Steele
I like understanding how things work.
Even more, I like making them work.

A bit of background
I’m Peter Steele, a full-stack software engineer based in Kincheloe, Michigan. I started programming with TI-BASIC on graphing calculators in 2004 and found my way into web development in 2006.
Since then, my work has included websites, internal tools, and software built around geographic information. I work remotely on GIS, IoT, and asset management software for a company based in Gaylord, Michigan. The projects here are my own independent work.
This is a place to follow that curiosity: useful software, ideas for the local community, and experiments that connect digital design with the physical world. I’ll share the work as it takes shape, with a clear distinction between an idea in progress and something ready to use.

Useful ideas, built together
A website for your local business, a tool for your community, or a smoother way to get things done. If you have an idea that could use some software, let's talk.
